Condition Monitoring Group Ltd (CMG) are pleased to announce the acquisition of DJB Instruments Ltd based in Mildenhall near Cambridge in the UK. Long established since the 1970s, DJB Instruments are a renowned and long established UK manufacturer of Accelerometers and associated Instrumentation and Calibration Services.

CMG have a number of closely related businesses, predominantly in the field of vibration and acoustic analysis through Semia, Beran Instruments, Helitune, Prosig and SEI. The Group maintains a strong presence around the world with offices in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the USA supported by a network of specialist distributors, partners and OEMs. Adding DJB Instruments to the Group provides complimentary expertise in the area of vibration sensing technology, particularly in the Automotive, Aerospace and Energy markets.

The DJB Instruments range includes a number of specialist areas including what is believed to be the world’s smallest miniature accelerometer weighing just 0.19gms and an ultra-high temperature 900C device used in engine exhaust gas and turbocharger applications.
